Let us begin health with the subject of WATER, which is the source of all life, thus we should begin with this.

Therapeutic Fasting - A detailed review
Therapeutic what? That's how most respond. And when I say, "water fasting," or "drinking ONLY water" then the panic and stricken looks come forth.
Let's face it, we all can agree that fear comes simply from lack of knowledge and understanding. Ok, great. So let's talk about what therapeutic fasting IS... and IS NOT.
IS NOT:
~STARVING or STARVATION (shall i say it one more time...?)
~unhealthy
~burning muscle for energy
~dangerous (with the correct tools and knowledge, or supervised)
~continual hunger (hunger leaves within 2-3 days max)
~damaging your organs (see starvation)
~easy
IS:
~challenging... mentally, spiritually, and physically
~healthy for tissues, organs, skin...well in fact your entire body
~when the body transitions from sucrose burning state to what is called, "ketosis" (fat burning)
~drinking pure, living water only - meaning: NO food, nutrients, chemicals, or drugs of any kind for a particular time period
~safe (see supervision)
~HEALING and restorative, especially to adrenal glands and normalizing blood sugars
~the MOST efficient and quickest way to lose fat and detox, safely
Now that we have that out of the way, let's move on to the facts and the myths more in detail and research that you can review on your own with the wealth of knowledge on the web.
Starvation usually begins for the avg. human, around 45-60 days, depending on how much energy they are expending and how much fat reserves they have. This is when your body has exhausted it's fat reserves, bacteria, tumors, and anything else that does not belong in the body - and moves to the muscle tissue, then non-vital organs, then, finally, the vital organs begin shutting down. Purportedly, this transition from "fasting" mode to "starvation" mode is a thin time frame of just a few hours and the body tells you with extreme hunger and some report having a completely clear tongue.
The most dangerous part of fasting that anyone should give ultimate respect, is breaking the fast, what food, how much, and how often.

Ps. I did my own water fast for 9 days, broke on day 10 in hawaii, by myself, after researching the website above thoroughly.
